The topic for this week’s Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge is Today. Today for me is Saturday — a cool rainy day in New England, but not without color — the roses are blooming.
Over the last week without rain, the yellow pine pollen has covered everything. It is the time of the year when it is pointless to wash your car; only a heavy rain and the passing days can rid us of this nuisance. Today is a start. The pollen is pooled on the driveway; more rain will begin to wash it away.
Despite the lack of sun, my daylillies are in bloom. For anyone who doesn’t know, the flowers open for only one day, thus their name. It doesn’t matter whether it is a sunny one or not; I was glad to see this was their day.
Loved your shots , It’s fantastic! =)

Thank you! I didn’t want to go far in the rain, so I stuck to my yard…:-)

The shot of the pollen in the driveway reminds me of those amazing satellite photos of earth’s natural wonders. So much pollen – I would be sneezing my head off 🙂
